Update permissions for all users
1. Log in as a system administrator
2. Open the Setup menu
Click the Setup icon in the top‑right corner
Select Setup
3. Open Permission Sets
On the Setup Home page, select Users, then Permission Sets
4. Select a user
Click the user whose permissions need to be updated
5. Open the System Permissions list
Click the applicable permission set
Select System permissions
6. Edit the permissions
Click Edit
Tick the required permission checkboxes
Tip: If an information icon appears next to a permission, ensure all required permissions listed under Requires these permissions are also enabled
7. Save the changes
Click Save at the top of the page
Update permissions for specific users only
1. Log in as a system administrator
2. Open the Setup menu
Click the Setup icon
Select Setup
3. Open Permission Sets
On the Setup Home page, select Users, then Permission Sets
4. Clone an existing permission set
Click Clone on the Access Practice Manager User row
Enter a Label and API Name
Click Save
Tip: API Names cannot contain spaces. Use underscores if needed.
5. Edit the cloned permission set
Open the permission set you created
Select System permissions
Click Edit
Tick the required permissions
Tip: If an information icon appears, ensure all required associated permissions are selected
Click Save
6. Assign the permission set to a user
Go to Users > Users
Select the username to update
In Permission set assignments, click Edit assignments
Remove the old permission set
Add the newly created permission set
Click Save
7. Repeat for additional users
Repeat steps 6 and 7 for any additional users who need the same permissions
