Access Practice Management - Customise reports

To customise or create reports in Access Practice Management, the user must have the required permissions. Once permissions are in place, users can edit, copy or filter reports as needed

Check user permissions

1. Open the Setup menu

  • Click the Setup icon (settings cog)

2. Search for permission sets

  • In the Quick Find box, type Permission Sets

  • Click Permission Sets

3. Open the relevant permission set

  • Select the permission set assigned to the user’s profile

4. Review system permissions

  • Scroll to System permissions

  • Click to open the list

5. Enable the reporting permission

  • Ensure Create and customize reports is selected

  • If it is not selected, click Edit, tick the checkbox and click Save


Modify an existing report

1. Open the Reports tab

2. Click All reports

3. Search for and open the report you want to modify

4. Click Edit

5. Save a copy of the report

  • Select Save as

  • Enter a new report name

6. Add or modify columns

  • Add new fields as required

  • Select the columns you want to include

7. Refresh the report

  • Click Refresh to view changes

8. Apply filters

  • Click the Filter icon to refine the report results
